KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The St. Olaf College men's soccer team collected votes in the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III Men's Top 25 national poll, as released on Tuesday.
St. Olaf (10-4-2, 6-0-1 MIAC) remained undefeated in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) play with a victory over Saint Mary's University and a tie against Augsburg University last week. The four-point week left the Oles in a tie with Gustavus Adolphus College atop the conference standings.
Regionally, St. Olaf, which is 8-1-2 in its last 12 games, remained at No. 3 in Region IX in this week's poll, trailing Gustavus and UW-Eau Claire, which were both ranked in the top 10 in the national rankings.
The Oles will head to St. Peter to take on the fifth-ranked Gusties on Wednesday, Oct. 23 at 3:30 p.m. with first place in the MIAC standings up for grabs.
