IRVING, Texas – Six members of the St. Olaf College football team were named to the 2024 National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame (NFF) Hampshire Honor Society, as announced recently.
Seniors
Simon Dickerson,
Ben Hestorff,
Max Kuntz,
Andrew Mollison,
Lorenzo Riley-Combs, and
Payton Schott were part of a record 2,000 student-athletes from 341 schools to qualify for membership in 2024. The NFF Hampshire Honor Society is comprised of college football student-athletes from all divisions of the NCAA, NAIA, and sprint football who each maintained a cumulative grade-point average (GPA) of 3.2 or better throughout their careers.
Nominated by their respective schools, members must be either a senior who will graduate this spring/summer and completed their final year of eligibility in 2023 or a graduated player who has been out of high school at least three years. Members must have attained the minimum 3.2 GPA and have been a starter or significant contributor during the 2023 season.
St. Olaf's six members marked the sixth year in a row the program had multiple student-athletes qualify for membership and the six honorees was the second-highest total over that span. St. Olaf has had 27 student-athletes join the NFF since its inception in 2007.
