KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Junior Ryan Bechtel and senior Robi Buzakovic of the St. Olaf College men's soccer team were both honored on the United Soccer Coaches 2025 NCAA Division III Men's All-America Teams, as announced on Thursday.

Bechtel and Buzakovic both earned the first All-America accolades of their careers, as Bechtel was named a First Team All-American and Buzakovic was selected as a Second Team All-American. The duo became the 10th and 11th All-Americans in program history for St. Olaf, which had two All-Americans for the third time in the last five seasons.

Bechtel added All-America honors to a junior season that also included Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Offensive Player of the Year, United Soccer Coaches First Team All-Region, and All-MIAC honors. In 24 games, the junior has racked up 11 goals and 13 assists for 35 points, with the 13 assists ranking tied for second in program history and the 35 points ranking tied for sixth. Bechtel has at least one goal or one assist in 18 of the Oles' 24 games so far.

After being named a United Soccer Coaches First Team All-Region IX honoree and an All-MIAC selection for the third season in a row, Buzakovic collected Second Team All-America honors during a season that has seen him tally 16 points on four goals and eight assists from his deep-lying midfielder spot. The senior also leads St. Olaf in shots (79) and shots on goal (31), while ranking third among field players in minutes played (1,836).

In its second-ever appearance in Final Four, fourth-ranked St. Olaf will take on top-ranked Tufts University in the national semifinals at 2 p.m. CST on Friday, Dec. 5 in Salem, Va.
