NORTHFIELD, Minn. – The St. Olaf College baseball team continued to appear in the "others receiving votes" portion of the D3baseball.com/National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Top 25 poll, as released on Tuesday morning.

After receiving one point in the preseason balloting, St. Olaf (2-0) held onto that point after opening its season by sweeping Simpson College on Sunday. The Oles are coming off a season where they won the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) regular-season title and advanced to the final game of the MIAC Playoffs.

St. Olaf was one of three MIAC programs to receive votes in this week's poll, along with Bethel University (four points) and Gustavus Adolphus College (three points). The Oles will head back to Iowa for four games against Luther College this weekend, with doubleheaders starting at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 8 and noon on Sunday, March 9.
