GREENWOOD, Ind. – Five members of the St. Olaf College softball team were named to the 2025 Academic All-District ® Softball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, as announced on Tuesday.

Shreya Ashok, senior
Amelia Christenson, fifth-year senior
Jaelyn Orth, junior
Roxanne Ring, and senior
Medora Rylee represented St. Olaf on the teams, which recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
In order to be eligible, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, must hold a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.50, and must compete in 90 percent of their teams' games or start at least 66 percent of the games. For pitchers, a student-athlete must have made at least 17 appearances or pitched at least 35.0 innings.
Tuesday's announcement marked the third consecutive Academic All-District ® accolade for Rylee, who will represent St. Olaf on the Academic All-America ® ballot. Ashok and Christenson landed their second consecutive Academic All-District ® accolades, while Orth and Ring were first-time honorees.
First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America ® honorees will be announced on June 17.
