GREENWOOD, Ind. – Five members of the St. Olaf College baseball team were named to the 2025 Academic All-District ® Baseball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, as announced on Tuesday.

Mason Buck, senior
Jacob Fickenscher, senior
Matthew Kulesa, junior
Frank Lavin, and senior
Matthew Oberlander represented St. Olaf on the list, which recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom.
In order to be nominated, student-athletes must hold a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.50, must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, and must compete in 90 percent or start in at least 66 percent of their team's games. For pitchers, a student-athletes must have made at least 17 appearances or pitched 35 innings.
Tuesday's announcement marked the third consecutive Academic All-District ® accolade for Kulesa, while Buck, Fickenscher, and Oberlander landed their second such honor. Lavin was a first-time honoree. Buck and Fickenscher advanced to the Academic All-America ® ballot, as first-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America ® honorees will be announced on July 1.
