Men's hockey ranked No.14 by D-III Hockey News

NORTHFIELD, Minn. – The St. Olaf College men's hockey team moved up one spot to No. 14 in this week's D-III Hockey News Men's Poll and continued to receive votes in the USCHO.com Division III Men's Ice Hockey Poll, as released on Monday.

After picking up four points from its series against Hamline University over the weekend, St. Olaf (7-2-4) earned its sixth consecutive top-15 ranking in the D-III Hockey News poll, rising one spot to No. 14 to tie its highest ranking of the season in the poll. The Oles also collected 10 points in the USCHO balloting to sit two spots outside the top 15.

Following a 2-2 tie on Friday night in St. Paul, St. Olaf cruised to a 9-1 victory over Hamline on home ice on Saturday, marking the program's highest single-game goal total since a 10-0 win over Northland College on Jan. 6, 2024.

The Oles will head to Wisconsin for two games this weekend, facing UW-River Falls at 7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 16 before taking on No. 13/14-ranked UW-Stout at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 17.
