NORTHFIELD, Minn. – Sophomores
Erica Johnson and
Savannah Carr of the St. Olaf College women's swimming and diving team both posted NCAA Regional qualifying scores while competing at the Northfield Diving Invite on Tuesday evening at Thorpe Pool.
On a night where all three competitors in the women's one-meter diving hit the regional standard, Johnson took second (429.55) and Carr was third (406.75). Johnson's score booked her spot at regionals with her second qualifying score, while Carr's was her first of the season. Competitors must post two scores of at least 395 to qualify for regionals.
St. Olaf's divers will compete at the Dodd Road Diving Invite on Saturday, Feb. 7 at Thorpe Pool, while the swimmers will head to the University of Minnesota First Chance Meet on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 6-7.
