BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Junior
Kanen Kreafle of the St. Olaf College baseball team was named the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Baseball Player of the Week, as announced on Monday afternoon.
Kreafle earned the first MIAC Athlete of the Week accolade of his career after going 5-for-8 (.625) with two doubles, a home run, two runs scored, and three RBI in St. Olaf's doubleheader against Gustavus Adolphus College on Tuesday. The junior had three hits, including a double and a solo home run, in game one before adding two hits, a walk, and two RBI in game two. He posted a .667 on-base percentage and 1.250 slugging percentage in the two games.
The Oles are scheduled to host Concordia-Moorhead in a doubleheader starting at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 8 before heading across town to Carleton College for two the next day.
