2021-22 (Senior) – Returned to team for fifth year of eligibility... Second Team All-MIAC… D3football.com Team of the Week (Oct. 12)… Played in all 10 games… Compiled 37.0 total tackles, 8.5 tackles for a loss, 3.0 sacks, two quarterback hurries, one pass breakup, one fumble recovery, one forced fumble, and one blocked kick… Tied for ninth in MIAC in tackles for a loss and tied for 17th in sacks… Led team in tackles for a loss… Recorded five total tackles, including two sacks, and recovered a fumble in 23-14 win over Carleton on Oct. 9… Also had a sack and forced a fumble in 29-14 loss at Gustavus on Nov. 6.
2020-21 (Senior) – Team did not compete due to COVID-19 pandemic.
2019-20 (Junior) – Second Team All-MIAC… Started all 10 games… Recorded 44 tackles, including 25 solo tackles, seven tackles for a loss, two sacks, one pass breakup, one pass defended, one fumble recovery, one forced fumble and three blocked kicks… Second in the MIAC in blocked kicks… Had three tackles, a sack, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery in 36-19 win over Carleton on Sept. 21… Blocked a field goal and an extra point in 48-26 victory at Augsburg on Sept. 28… Season-high 10 tackles in 14-0 loss at Concordia-Moorhead on Nov. 9.
2018-19 (Sophomore) – Honorable Mention All-MIAC... D3football.com Team of the Week (Sept. 18)... Started all 10 games… Compiled 42 tackles (16 solo), 10 tackles for a loss, one sack, two pass breakups, two quarterback hurries, one fumble recovery, one forced fumble and one blocked kick… Led team and tied for seventh in the MIAC in tackles for a loss… Season-high nine tackles (three solo), two and a half tackles for a loss, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, one quarterback hurry and one pass breakup in 34-29 victory over Luther on Sept. 8… Had six tackles (three solo) and two and a half for a loss in 33-21 win at Carleton on Sept. 15… Had eight tackles, one for a loss and half a sack in 28-20 defeat to Gustavus on Nov. 10.
2017-18 (First Year) – Appeared in nine games ... Recorded 43 tackles, including 11 solo tackles.
AT TRI-CITY UNITED HIGH SCHOOL
Member of football team all four years, earning two letters... Also on trapshooting team for three years, Olympus lifting team for one year, and baseball team for one year... All-district defensive end... Team's Defensive Lineman of the Year... All-conference in football as a junior... Football team won 2015 Section 1AAA championship and qualified for state tournament... Captained football and trap shooting teams as a senior... Honor Roll student.

Parents Brad Bartholomew and Dan and Traci Murphy... Has three siblings - Matthew, Bailey and Cailyn... Transferred from South Dakota State University but did not play football... Majoring in economics.
