Member of wrestling team for six years and played four years of football… Posted record of 89-28 during wrestling career… Went 11-2 senior year before tearing ACL, 30-6 as a junior, 24-8 as a sophomore and 24-12 as a freshman…Second team all-state junior year…  First team all-section as a junior, second team all-section as a sophomore… All-Iron Range Team as a freshman, sophomore and junior… Section champion junior year, section runner-up sophomore year and section place winner freshman year… State entrant as a sophomore and junior… All-conference in football as a junior and senior… Football team was runner-up in section senior year… Led state in sacks and tackles as a senior… Football team qualified for state as a sophomore… Graduated with honors… National Honor Society member.
