Lee Goren is in his second season as an assistant men's hockey coach at St. Olaf in 2015-16.
Goren spent 2014-15 as the Director of Hockey and under-18 Head Coach of the B.E. Emerson Prep Academy.
He finished his 13-year professional playing career in 2013. He was a third-round selection in the NHL Draft and played in 67 career NHL games, collecting five goals and four assists while playing for the Boston Bruins, Florida Panthers and Vancouver Canucks. After his time in the NHL and AHL, he played professionally in Germany, Finland, Sweden and Switzerland.
He led the nation in scoring in 2000 when he helped North Dakota to a national championship, the second of his career (1997). He was named the Most Outstanding Player at the Frozen Four when he had two goals in the final period of the national title game.
