Zach Richards is in his second season as the goaltenders coach for the St. Olaf men's hockey program in 2021-22.
Prior to joining head coach Eddie Effinger's staff at St. Olaf, Richards coached in a variety of roles in the state of Michigan, most recently serving as an instructor for Just Goalies Inc., a summer instructor for Hockey Masters, and as a private goalie instructor for high school and youth players.
In addition to his private coaching experience, Richards was an assistant head coach for the Lansing Spartans 18U program (2017-19), an assistant coach and goalie coach for the Central Michigan University Division III club hockey program (2017-18), as assistant coach and goalie coach for Eastside Varsity Hockey (2016-19), and the assistant head coach for the Lansing Spartans 16U program (2015-17).
