Elizabeth Larson

    Assistant Volleyball Coach
Elizabeth Larson is in her sixth season as an assistant coach for the St. Olaf volleyball program in 2019-20.

After winning 28 matches over her first three seasons, St. Olaf has gone 45-18 over the last two seasons, recording the program's first back-to-back 20-win seasons since 2009 and 2010. The Oles have qualified for the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Playoffs in each of the last two seasons and advanced to the semifinals in 2017 by winning its first playoff match since 2011.

Prior to coming to St. Olaf, Larson was the head volleyball coach at Northfield High School for eight seasons, leading the Raiders to one Missota Conference championship. She also served as an assistant coach for the Northern Lights Volleyball Club for four years and was the head coach for the Northfield Volleyball Club for 15 years.

Larson attended the University of Minnesota-Duluth, the University of Guanajuato (Mexico) and St. Mary's University and holds a bachelor's degree in elementary education with a minor in Spanish and a master's degree in education.

Larson resides in Northfield with her husband, Jeff, and their three daughters.
