Natalie Walseth

Natalie Walseth is in her fourth season as an assistant coach for the St. Olaf volleyball program in 2019-20.

Walseth, who also coaches for Northern Lights Volleyball Club, was a four-year starter and captain on the University of South Dakota volleyball team. She was listed on The Summit League’s Fall Academic Honor Roll with Distinguished Scholar honors, as well as being named to the Summit League Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence three times. She was also on the Dean’s List on numerous occasions throughout her undergraduate career.

Walseth spent two years at St. Olaf as the assistant athletic director for new media and events after coming to the Hill on the NCAA Division III Ethnic Minority and Women's Internship Grant. In that role, her duties included website management, media relations, social media and event management.


Walseth graduated from the University of South Dakota in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in contemporary media and journalism with an emphasis in public relations and advertising and a minor in Spanish. She went on to obtain her Master's of Science in marketing from Durham University Business school in Durham, England.
