AT ST. OLAF
2024-25 (Senior) – Academic All-MIAC… Played in all 29 matches and 106-of-108 sets while starting nine matches… Totaled seven kills, 20 assists, 31 aces (0.29 per set), and 320 digs (3.02 per set)… Second on the team in digs and digs per set and third in aces and aces per set… Ranked tied for 15th in the MIAC in digs, 16th in digs per set, and 22nd in aces… Picked up double-digit digs in 17 matches, including three matches with at least 20… Had 20 digs in five-set loss at Wartburg on Sept. 20… Registered 20 digs and two aces in five-set loss at Saint Ben’s on Nov. 9… Had career-high 22 digs in four-set loss at Bethel in the quarterfinals of the MIAC Playoffs on Nov. 12.

2023-24 (Junior) – Chi Alpha Sigma inductee… Spring 2024 St. Olaf Dean’s List… Appeared in three sets over three matches… Compiled one assist and three digs.

2022-23 (Sophomore) – Appeared in one set of one match, recording one assist in road sweep of Concordia-Moorhead on Oct. 22.

2021-22 (First Year) – Appeared in one match, recording two aces and five digs in sweep of Concordia-Moorhead on Oct. 23.

AT GAITHERSBURG SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL
Played four years of volleyball... Four-year varsity starter... Team captain as a junior and senior... All-county selection as a junior... Team qualified for county playoffs three times... Also played on the coed volleyball team for three years... AP Scholar... Honor Roll student... National Honor Society member.

PERSONAL
Parents David and Eileen Deist... Has three siblings - Evan, Kellan, and Meghan... Double-majoring in environmental studies and economics with an emphasis in law and public policy... Played club volleyball for Vienna Elite VBC (18U) and MVSA VBC (11U-17U).
