NORTHFIELD, Minn.- The St. Olaf men's soccer team lost their final game of the regular season 3-2 to Carleton College as
Jens Undlin scored his 14th goal of the year to finish with the individual title of MIAC top scorer.
Undlin's goal came in the 15th minute with an assist from
Phumelela Sukati. Carleton's KC Onuoha-Onyekuru scored just before half-time in the 45th minute to tie the game at 1-1 going into half-time.
The Knights took the lead in the 62nd minute before
Kevin Skrip gave the Oles their second goal via a penalty kick. Peter Passalino scored the game winner for Carleton in the 84th minute to hand St. Olaf their first and only MIAC defeat of the regular season.
St. Olaf will maintain the top seed in the MIAC playoffs, with a record of seven wins, two ties, and a single loss.Â
St. Olaf will play their first MIAC playoff game at home against the winner of the number 3 and 6 seed teams. The game will take place at 2:00 p.m. at Rolf Melby Field.Â
