MANKATO, Minn. - Ben Figini and Austin Majeskie had 17 points each as the St. Olaf men's basketball team topped host Bethany Lutheran College 102-70 on Saturday afternoon at RFC Gymnasium in the regular season opener for each school.

Figini added seven rebounds while Majeskie was 6-for-8 from the field off the bench with three assists. Sterling Nielsen shot 4-for-6 from the field for 10 points. He added seven assists and five steals.
The Vikings led by as many as five early in the first half before the Oles took control. St. Olaf used a 21-5 run midway through the first frame and led 48-33 at the break.

Troy Spears had 16 points to lead BLC (0-1) while Nick Sanborn added 12.
St. Olaf (1-0) will host No. 7 UW-Stevens Point on Wednesday night in the Oles' home opener.
