ST.CLOUD, Minn.- Goals from
Peter Lindblad and
Jonas Fredriksson were not enough on Saturday night as the St. Olaf men's hockey team lost a 4-2 result to Saint John's University.
SJU scored early in the first and second period with two goals from Huba Sekesi, giving SJU a 2-0 lead after the first two periods of play.
Lindblad scored two minutes after the start of the third period with a goal assisted by
Steven Sherman and
Jonas Fredriksson. Fredriksson scored  goal of his own ten minutes later to bring the Oles level at 2-2.
The Johnnies scored two late goals in the 18th and 20th minutes, rounding out the 4-2 victory over the Oles.
The St. Olaf men play the University of St. Thomas Friday in Mendota Heights, Minn.
