ARDEN HILLS, Minn. - No. 15 Bethel University defeated visiting St. Olaf 40-0 in a MIAC football game on Saturday afternoon at Royal Stadium.

The Royals (1-1, 1-0 MIAC) ran for 316 yards as Marshall Klitzke had 132 and Brandon Marquardt 113 on the ground in the victory.

St. Olaf had a pair of interceptions -- from Tyler Vajdic and Riley Hedstrom -- but Bethel held the Oles to four first downs and 85 yards total offense.

The Oles play at Concordia-Moorhead next Saturday at 1 p.m. The game can be heard on 920 AM, KDHL.
