NORTHFIELD, Minn. – Senior Tytan Small of the St. Olaf College football team landed a spot on the D3football.com Team of the Week, as announced on Tuesday.

Small grabbed one of three linebacker spots on the weekly national honor roll after recording five tackles, three and a half tackles for a loss, two sacks, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery in St. Olaf's 23-21 last-second win over Augsburg University on Saturday. The senior is St. Olaf's 25th all-time selection to the D3football.com Team of the Week.

On Saturday, Small had a sack and forced fumble that set up an early second-quarter touchdown and another one late in the second quarter before recovering a fumble midway through the fourth quarter. His play also helped the Oles limit the Auggies to six rushing yards on 20 attempts in the game.

St. Olaf has had at least one D3football.com Team of the Week honoree in each of the last eight seasons.

The Oles will visit Gustavus Adolphus College for a 1 p.m. kickoff on Saturday, Oct. 10.
