NORTHFIELD, Minn.-
Drew Otto's late third period goal gave St. Olaf the edge saturday night as the St. Olaf men's hockey team beat Bethel University 2-1.
Matt Geurts put St. Olaf on the board seven minutes into the first period with play assisted by
Steven Sherman and
Ole Setsaas. BU equalized eight minutes into the third period, but a 15 minute goal from Otto gave the Oles a 2-1 win.Â
St. Olaf out-shot BU 45-31, forcing Bethel goaltender Matt Rowe to make 43 saves.Â
The St. Olaf men play Bethel again tomorrow in Saint Paul at 7 p.m.Â
