NORTHFIELD, Minn. - Bethel University defeated the 19th-ranked St. Olaf men's basketball team 95-89 on Saturday afternoon at Skoglund Center.

Brycen Wojta led Bethel (11-5, 7-4 MIAC) with 24 points and seven rebounds in the victory while Bridgeport Tusler added 23 points and four.

Ben Figini had a career high 31 points to go with nine rebounds for St. Olaf (13-3, 8-3 MIAC), which had a mere six turnovers in the loss. Riley Aeikens added 18 points, going 4-for-5 from beyond the arc.

St. Olaf led 57-54 with 12:29 left, but Bethel used a 15-2 run and never relinquished the advantage. The Oles missed 10 straight field goal attempts in the stretch as the Royals led by as many as 16.

St. Olaf made four three-pointers and three layups inside the final two-plus minutes, but the Royals were a perfect 14-for-14 from the line inside the final 2:30 to secure the win.

Bethel led 45-39 at the break on the heels of 7-for-12 shooting from the arc. BU finished 9-of-17 from long range while the Oles were 7-of-18.
St. Olaf will be back home on Wednesday night for a 7:45 p.m tip off against Macalester College
