Despite late rally, Oles fall to Bethel in three

NORTHFIELD, Minn. - Bethel University defeated St. Olaf 3-0 (25-19, 25-13, 25-21) in a MIAC volleyball match on Wednesday night at Skoglund Center.

Kathryn Johnson and Abby Carpenter led St. Olaf (8-16, 0-7 MIAC) in kills with eight and seven respectively. Angela Fusselman led the defense in digs with 12 and Kersten Bork had 26 assists in the loss. 

Kristin Stern of Bethel (15-6, 5-2 MIAC) led the Royals with nine kills. 

The Oles will travel to the University of St. Thomas on Wednesday of next week to take on the Tommies at 7 p.m.
