EAU CLAIRE, Wis. - Justin Pahl had 24 points, including the 1,000th of his career, but UW-Eau Claire closed with a 7-1 run to upend St. Olaf 80-74 in a men's basketball game at Zorn Arena. 

Ben Figini added 20 points and Riley Aeikens 13 for the Oles (5-4), who saw their three-game winning streak come to a close. 

Jack Martinek had 24 points and George Diekelman 17 for the Blugolds (7-4), who led by as many as 16 in the first half and by 14 with 8:54 to play. St. Olaf rallied to tie it with an Aeikens three-pointer with 2:14 left. Diekelman then scored on each of the Blugolds' next two possessions. 

Pahl became the 20th to reach 1,000 career points in school history. He is the fifth Ole to reach the plateau since 2012. 

St. Olaf returns to MIAC action on Saturday with a 1 p.m. game at Carleton.
