MOORHEAD, Minn.- Jon Grebosky tallied two goals, including the game-winner with 2:48 remaining in the game, as St. Olaf men's hockey fell to Concordia-Moorhead 4-3 Saturday afternoon at the Moorhead Sports Center.
Grebosky's goal came after St. Olaf (6-14-3, 4-8-2 MIAC) tied the game with 6:18 to play in the third period.
Matt Kroska netted the tying goal with help from
Connor Tedstrom.
Concordia (12-7-4, 7-4-4 MIAC) opened a 2-0 lead, scoring a power play goal in the first period and 3:11 into the second.
Brian Hickey cut the Cobber lead in half with an individual effort at 13:10. Just 1:31 later,
Drew Otto scored to tie the game at 2-2.
Peter Lindblad and
Nick Marsh recorded assists on Otto's power play marker. Concordia took the lead with 41 seconds to play in the second period as the Oles trailed 3-2 through two periods.
Kroska's goal tied the score but Grebosky's second of the game gave the Cobbers a 4-3 win. St. Olaf pulled the goalie with 1:38 left in the game and had a power play opportunity over the final 1:16 but could not convert.
St. Olaf will be off next weekend and returns to action on Friday, Feb. 20 at home against Augsburg at 7:30 p.m.
