LA CROSSE, Wis. - Six Oles competed at the La Crosse NCAA Qualifier on Friday Evening.

Piper Bain won the 3000m steeplechase with the 32nd fastest time in Division III this year.  Her mark of 11:07.90 was over 20 seconds faster than the second place competitor.  This closes out an impressive first track season for Bain who was one of the Oles top runners in cross country this fall.

In the 1500, Megan Holmes closed out her season with a 4:40.25, good for a sixth place finish in the event.  

Amy Waananen led a trio of Oles in the 5000m by placing second in 17:50.45, a season best by over 10 seconds.  Morghen Philippi followed in third, and Kelsey Coulter finished her St. Olaf career with a 18:55.99 and seventh place finish.

The Division III National Championships take place next weekend in Canton, NY.
