Volleyball sweeps two to start 2015

NORTHFIELD, Minn. - The St. Olaf volleyball team swept a pair of non-conference matches from Crown College and Martin Luther College to open the 2015 season on Tuesday night at Skoglund Center.

Megan Grimes had a combined 17 kills in the two victories in her Ole debut. She had nine kills in the opener against Crown and eight on 23 swings against MLC. Kathryn Johnson hit .357 in the nightcap, going 7-for-14 with two errors. 

The Oles' Reni Erickson had 18 and 10 assists in her first appearance. Kersten Bork had 14 and 15 in the two-setter system.

St. Olaf will play at Bethel University this weekend in a four-match event.
