ST. PAUL, Minn. - The St. Olaf volleyball team swept Knox College and Lawrence University on Saturday in the opening rounds of the Associated Colleges of the Midwest Tournament at Macalester College.

Kathryn Johnson had 12 kills, hitting .435, as the Oles swept Knox 25-9, 25-18, 25-6. St. Olaf hit a season-best .384, as
Katie Payne and
Alison Curry had seven kills each.

Johnson had a career-high 16 kills as the Oles (6-3, 0-0 MIAC) won their third straight with the 25-18, 25-20 and 25-18 victory over Lawrence.
Kersten Bork had 25 kills and
Abby Slack 21 digs for St. Olaf, which scored the first seven points in the first set. LU led 7-5 in the third set, but St. Olaf scored the next seven to take hold of the decisive set.Â
St. Olaf will play Lake Forest and Grinnell College on Sunday to wrap up the event.
