Volleyball prevails over Martin Luther 3-1

NEW ULM, Minn. - The St. Olaf volleyball team on Tuesday night prevailed over non-conference foe Martin Luther College, 3-1 (24-26, 25-19, 25-23, 25-17), for the third time this season.

Kathryn Johnson led the Oles (4-3, 0-0 MIAC) in kills with 14 with Megan Grimes adding 11. Kersten Bork recorded 23 assists and Reni Erickson had 16.

Katie Payne and Abby Slack led defensive efforts with Payne recording six block assists and Slack with 23 digs.

The Oles will be back in action on Saturday at Macalester College for the ACM Tournament. St. Olaf will begin play against Knox College at 9 a.m.
