ST. CLOUD, Minn. - The St. Olaf men's hockey team defeated Saint John's 4-2 on Friday night at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center.
Ole Setsaas and
Nick Marsh led the Oles with two goals and one assist apiece.
Peter Lindblad was credited with two assists and
Connor Quinn and Judd Lowenstein had one each as well in the win.
St. Olaf (3-10-3, 1-4-2 MIAC) scored two goals in the first period, and two in the third period, both on powerplays. The second period was scoreless for both teams.
Connor Kelly and Sean Lang each had goals for Saint John's (5-9-2, 3-4-0 MIAC).
St. Olaf had 25 total shots to Saint John's 44.
Goal tender
Jude Hull finished the game with 42 saves.
The Oles will host Saint John's tomorrow night at the Northfield Ice Arena at 7:30 p.m.
