ST. PAUL, Minn. - The St. Olaf women's basketball team defeated St. Catherine 79-69 on Saturday afternoon at the Butler Center.
Afton Wolter posted a career high of 22 points after she went 6-of-10 from three point range and 4-of-4 from the free throw line. Wolter also had two assits, three rebounds and a steal in the win.
Makenna Ash was the next leading scorer with 14 points and eight rebounds. Senior
Betsey Daly finished the game with another double-double putting up 12 points and bringing down 11 rebounds.
Woo Bandel and
Lauren Gutierrez led the Oles in assists with five apiece.
St. Catherine's (
7-7, 2-6 MIAC) LaShay Holt had a game high of 33 points.
St. Olaf (10-5, 5-3 MIAC) will be at home vs. St. Thomas on Wednesday, January 20 at 7 p.m.
