MOORHEAD, Minn. - Jordan Bolger had 26 points and 13 rebounds as Concordia-Moorhead shot 60.7 percent from the floor in the second half to erase an 11-point halftime deficit to defeat St. Olaf 62-61 in a MIAC men's basketball game on Wednesday night at Memorial Auditorium.
Ben Figini had a team-best 21 points and seven rebounds for the Oles (10-8, 8-5 MIAC). St. Olaf had 11 points each from
Justin Pahl and
Riley Aeikens in the loss.Â
Tom Fraase added 17 and Brady Severson 12 points for the Cobbers (10-7, 8-5 MIAC) in the cleanly-played game. St. Olaf had a season-low five turnovers while the Cobbers had only nine.
With the game tied at 58-58 with just over a minute to play, Bolger and Fraase scored on consecutive possessions to give Concordia a 62-58 advantage, their largest lead of the night. An Aeikens' three-pointer cut the lead to one, but only two seconds remained.
St. Olaf hosts Hamline on Saturday at 1 p.m.Â
