NORTHFIELD, Minn. - Gustavus Adolphus College built a 17-0 halftime lead on the way to a 23-3 MIAC football victory over host St. Olaf on Saturday at Manitou Field.
Gustie quarterback Christian Haffner rushed for two scores and threw for 152 yards while Luke Martinez rushed for 106 yards in the win for Gustavus (4-4, 2-4 MIAC).Â

Jorgen Salveson -- had four catches each.
Gustavus forced two St. Olaf turnovers in the first quarter and capitalized with touchdowns on each. The Oles lost two fumbles and had a pass intercepted in the defeat.Â
Haffner ran for 71 yards as a part of a Gustie ground attack that accounted for 255 of Gustavus' 409 total yards. St. Olaf had 209. The Oles had 116 yards passing, led by
Jack Goldstein, who went 10-for-20 for 92 yards.
Ricardo Johnson III rushed for 37 yards on five carries and was 4-of-13 with an interception.Â
The Ole defense was led by
Luke Dahl, who had 16 total tackles, six solo and 10 assisted, including 1.5 sacks.
Max Karpinske added eight total tackles for St. Olaf.
St. Olaf wraps up its home schedule next Saturday with a game against Concordia-Moorhead at 1 p.m.Â
