NORTHFIELD, Minn. - Concordia College-Moorhead used a second half rally and two-touchdown, 100-yard rushing performances from Chad Johnson and quarterback Michael Herzog in a 42-13 MIAC footbal victory over St. Olaf on Saturday at Manitou Field.

The Oles' Khayleb Willis had a breakout performance, rushing for two touchdowns and 83 yards on seven carries and pulling in five receptions for 54 yards. Willis' 67-yard cutback run in the second quarter regained the lead for St. Olaf at 13-7. 

Johnson rushed for 116 yards on 19 carries and Herzog, the Cobber quarterback, rushed for 112 yards and threw for 111 on 13-of-17 with a touchdown.

St. Olaf raced to a 7-0 lead in the opening minutes after recovering an onside kick to start the game. The Oles drove 49 yards in eight plays, capped by a two-yard run by Willis.

The Ole defense held early, stopping the Cobbers on three of the first four drives. Coleman Foley and Colten Yahn were each in on 12 tackles for St. Olaf.

he Cobbers' fifth drive covered 70 yards on 10 plays to give Concordia a 14-13 lead at the half. The Cobbers then scored on their first two drives of the second half and held the Oles to one first down on the next three drives.

St. Olaf, down 28-13 early in the fourth, marched 63 yards on 16 plays before Concordia collected its second of three interceptions at the Cobber 10-yard line. On the next drive, the Cobbers' Trey Austvold intercepted Hanson Devine and returned it to the end zone for the final margin.

St. Olaf (2-7, 1-6 MIAC) closes the season at No. 4 St. Thomas next week. The Cobbers (7-2, 6-1) host Saint John's University.
