NORTHFIELD, Minn. - The St. Olaf women's track and field team competed Saturday afternoon at the Meet of Hearts, hosted by Carleton College.

Suzie Hoops and Morghen Philippi each gathered an individual victory.  Hoops won the 600 with a time of 1:39.09, winning the event by over two seconds.  Madison VanWylen finished as the runner-up in the 600.  Philippi led the 3000 meter race wire to wire in a time of 10:28.6.  Jamie Hoornaert returned for her first indoor race with a 10:46.75 in the 3000, good for a sixth place finisher.

VanWylen also finished second in the long jump with a jump of 4.96 meters.

Michaela Bolden threw a distance of 13.71 meters in the weight throw to finish third in the event.

The Oles race next at the University of Minnesota Parents Day Open on Saturday.
