Justin Pahl went 16-of-16 from the free throw line on the way to 25 points as the St. Olaf men's basketball team defeated host Bethel University 71-65 on Saturday at the Robertson Center.
Ben Figini added 16 points and
Riley Aeikens 13 as the Oles (12-8, 10-5 MIAC) went 27-for-30 from the free throw line in the win. Derek Magnuson had 18 points and 12 rebounds  to lead the Royals (13-6, 8-6 MIAC).Â
St. Olaf trailed for only one possession, the first of the game, and led by as many as 14 in the second half. Bethel closed the gap to one on a Magnuson three-pointer with 30 seconds left, but Pahl nailed two and Aeikens 3-of-4 free throws to secure the victory.Â
The win snapped a four-game skid to Bethel.Â
