NORTHFIELD, Minn. - The St. Olaf women's track team hopped across the Canon river for a triangular meet against Carleton and Hamline on Friday night.
Jordan Lutz and
Mary Naas both picked up victories in the meet, as Lutz won the 1000 meter dash in 3:06.42, and Naas winning the 3000 in 10:31.86. Â
Josefine Brekke was right behind Lutz with a time of 3:07.66 and
Jessica Bentley completed the podium for the Oles in 3:11.72. Â
Bryony Hawgood (3rd - 10:57.62),
Meredith Moore (5th - 11:03.19), and
Joy Claypoole (7th - 11:29.72) also competed in the 3000 with Naas.
Mackenzie Schoustra and
Masha Grizhebovskaya raced the 55 hurdles, finishing third and fifth respectively in 8.95 and 9.41. Â
Kristen Diederichs finished third in the shot put (10.40m) and fifth in the weight throw (9.26m).
In the high jump,
Meg Andersen cleared 1.50 meters to take second, and
Emily Bohlig surpasses 1.35 for fifth.
The Oles compete next at a home meet next Friday in Skoglund Center.
