MOORHEAD, Minn. - Jorgen Salveson scored twice with two receptions and 74 yards on the day as St. Olaf (4-5, 3-4 MIAC) lost 54-12 to Concordia (8-1, 6-1 MIAC) in a conference game on Saturday afternoon.

Concordia scored six unanswered touchdowns to open the game, the first of which was a 50-yard run by Chad Johnson. The Cobbers ran for 411 net yards while the Oles managed 26 on the day. The Oles averaged 1.4 yards per rush to the Cobbers 7.5.

Cobber quarterback Blake Kragnes led his team in both passing and rushing. Through the air, Kragnes passed for 97 yards and a touchdown. On the ground, Kragnes ran for 107 yards and three touchdowns, highlighted by a 52-yard run to the end zone in the opening possession of the second half.

Salveson's first touchdown reception came in the fourth quarter as he caught a tipped ball in the end zone. Later in the quarter, he hauled in a deep pass from Jack Goldstein and ran it in for a 71-yard score.

Goldstein finished the day 14-28 for 184 yards and a touchdown. Troy Peterson led the team in receiving with 12 catches for 150 yards. Peterson also had a passing touchdown, as he threw the tipped pass that Salveson caught in the end zone.

The Oles close out the regular season next Saturday with a home game against St. Thomas.
