Trevin Nelson went 4-for-4 from the field, including three three-pointers, in the second half to lead St. Olaf to a 71-66, come-from-behind victory over Northwestern (Minn.) at UW-Eau Claire's Zorn Arena on Saturday afternoon.
Austin Korba had 13 of his team-best 20 points in the second half as the Oles (7-3) overcame a nine-point halftime deficit en route to their seventh victory of the 2017-18.
Troy Diggins Jr. added 16 points,
Robert Tobroxen 12 to go with Nelson's 11 points.
Anderson Bazile Jr. had 25 points to lead Northwestern.
The Eagles (2-9) held an eight-point advantage eight minutes into the second half before back-to-back three-pointers by Nelson and Korba got the Oles within a score. Nelson hit another three on the ensuing possession and, with 7:45 to play, the Oles grabbed the lead on a pair of Korba free throws.
St. Olaf secured the victory at the free throw line, making 24-of-28 in the game and all 16 in the second half.
