COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. - The St. Olaf men's basketball team (5-2, 2-2 MIAC) lost a conference game 72-46 to 24th-ranked Saint John's University (6-1, 3-0 MIAC) on Saturday.
The Johnnies were led by Tyler Weiss, who scored 19 points on 7-of-8 shooting from the floor and a perfect 5-for-5 from the free throw line. Jubie Alade had 12 points to go with a team-high nine rebounds for the Johnnies.
Austin Korba scored 13 points on 4-of-10 shooting for the Oles.
Ben Scheffley led St. Olaf with six rebounds.
The Oles shot 29.6% from the field, going 16-54. Saint John's made 27 of their 54 shots for an even 50 percent.
Next up for the Oles is a conference game at home against Saint Mary's University on Wednesday.
