ST. PAUL, MInn. - Michael Gutierrez of Macalester hit a three-pointer with four seconds to go in the game to defeat the St. Olaf men's basketball team 64-61 on Saturday afternoon at the Leonard Center.
Robert Tobroxen and
Austin Majeskie had 13 points and eight rebounds apiece for St. Olaf (10-12, 8-9 MIAC).
Matthew Stroud chipped in eight points.
Gutierrez was 8-for-12 from three-point range for the Scots (10-12, 8-9 MIAC), who shot 44.8 percent from the three-point line on the day as a team.Â
The Oles had 28 points in the paitn to Macalester's 14 and was 78.6 percent from the free throw line.
St. Olaf will host St. Thomas next on Monday at 7 p.m.
