Austin Korba had 20 points to lead four St. Olaf players in double figures as the visiting Oles topped Gustavus 72-56 on Wednesday night at Gus Young Court.
Austin Majeskie added 13 points while
Robert Tobroxen had 11 and
Nate Albers 10 for the Oles (10-11, 8-8 MIAC). St. Olaf shot 67 percent from the field in the second half and had 36 points in the paint to the Gusties' 18.
Gustavus was paced by Spencer Tollefson's 16 points off the bench. Gustavus never led. The Oles used a 13-0 run midway through the first half to break a 7-7 tie and the Gusties could not cut the lead to single digits the rest of the way.
St. Olaf will play at Macalester on Saturday. The Oles return home on Monday for the first of three straight home games next week to close the regular season.
