ST. PAUL, Minn. - The St. Olaf women's track and field team finished sixth in the Janis Rider Invitational on Saturday afternoon hosted by Macalester College.
Jamie Hoornaert finished third in the 1500 meter run with a time of 4:52.31, scoring eight points for the Oles. Â
Mackenzie Schoustra qualified for finals in the 100 meter hurdles where she was fourth in 15.47.  In the 400 meter hurdle event,
Lillie Meakim was 1:09.50 to place ninth,
Lindsey Kemp ran 1:14.47 for 14th and
Sarah Bond crossed in 1:25.09 to place 18th overall.
In the sprint events,
Abby Stets was second in the 200 meter dash (26.23) and fifth in the 100 meter dash (12.45). Â In the steeplechase, the Oles were led by
Jena Moody who was the runner-up in 11:26.35. Â
Lisa Fisher (5th - 11:53.57),
Meredith Moore (7th - 12:09.53),
Daisy Richmond (9th - 12:16.73), and
Megan Rossman (12th - 12:40.67) followed in the steeple.
Corinna Brown Ton cleared 2.83 meters to finish eighth in the pole vault, and
Avery Prine was close behind in tenth with a clearance of 2.68 meters. Â
Sam Waddell vaulted over 2.53 meters to finish T-12th.
In the javelin throw,
Kelsey Weed threw 33.47 meters for seventh,
Jessica Bentley threw 30.29 meters in 10th and
Emily Bohlig finished 22nd with a throw of 20.32 meters.
St. Olaf finished with 90 points to place sixth.  Winning the meet was the team from Macalester after amassing 141 points.  The Oles race next at the Tommie Twilight meet on Wednesday night.
