WHEATON, Ill. - St. Olaf lost a pair of non-conference men's soccer games at Wheaton's Joe Bean Stadium on Friday and Saturday, falling to the host Thunder 3-0 on Friday before a 2-0 loss to Aurora University on Saturday.

Friday: Wheaton 3, St. Olaf 0
Wheaton scored three second half goals and held a 21-2 advantage in shots in the season-opening victory over the visiting Oles before an announced crowd of 1,337. Will Woodfin, Peter Whallon and Shane Kopplin each scored for the Thunder in the victory.

St. Olaf goalkeeper Ben Westermeyer had 14 saves, including nine in the opening 45 minutes. 

Saturday: Aurora 2, St. Olaf 0
Aurora's Noe Padilla broke a scoreless tie with a goal in the 58th minute as the Spartans defeated St. Olaf 2-0. Henry Zehnal added an insurance goal with 8:46 left on a header off of a corner.

The Oles held a 20-17 edge in shots, while the game was even in shots on goal (7-7) and corners (5-5).
