NORTHFIELD, Minn. - The St. Olaf men's hockey team (6-7-1) were defeated 4-2 by the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire (11-7-0) on Saturday at Northfield Ice Arena.

Andrew Willner and Sawyer Jacobson scored goals for the Oles. Willner's goal in the first period was his second of the season, and Jacobson's in the third frame was his fourth of the year.

Four different Blugolds scored for Eau Claire. Kyle Lee scored in the second to put the Blugolds on the board. Jacob Wolter, Tyler Tomberlin, and Alex Strand each scored in the final frame to propelled Eau Claire to the win.

Next up for the Oles is a home game against Hamline on Friday.
