NORTHFIELD, Minn. - The St. Olaf women's swimming and diving team finished in first place over Macalester, Hamline, and St. Catherine on Saturday at Skoglund Center.
The Oles won the meet with 448 points. The Scots took second with 306 points, the Pipers followed with 181 points, and the Wildcats placed fourth with 136 points.
St. Olaf won nine different events, seven of which were individual wins.
Linnea Rizzo finished first in two events. She swam a 2:01.44 to win the 200 Yard Freestyle, and a 4:41.41 to win the 400 Yard IM.
Kelly Wichmann won both the 100 Yard Breaststroke (1:14.05) and the 200 Yard Breaststroke (2:40.99)
The 100 Yard Freestyle was won by
Marissa Wolff, swimming the event in 55.26.
In the 200 Yard Butterfly,
Helen Jensen finished first with a time of 2:14.29
Emily Maruyama won the 500 Yard Freestyle, clocking in at 5:44.47
In the 200 Yard Medley, the team of
Kelly Punyko,
Sophia Nevin, Jensen, and
Nina McLarnan finished in first place with a time of 1:53.58.
The team of Punyko,
Solvay Metelmann, McLarnan, and Wolff swam the 200 Yard Freestyle with a winning time of 1:44.52.
Next up for the Oles is a meet at Carleton on Saturday.
