Nate Albers made three-pointers on three straight second half possessions to help St. Olaf to a 65-57 MIAC men's basketball victory over visiting Gustavus Adolphus College on Saturday afternoon at Skoglund Center.
Austin Korba had 15 points,
Dominic Bledsoe 14 and Albers 13 as the Oles won their fourth straight. Albers was 3-for-4 and Korba 3-for-6 from three-point range.
Robert Tobroxen added seven points and seven rebounds for St. Olaf (13-5, 9-4 MIAC).
Riley Sharbono had a game-high 25 points for the Gusties on 10-of-17 shooting. Jason Faul added 10 points.
Albers scored 11 straight points for St. Olaf. He hit two free throws before his three-point run, turning a seven-point lead (42-35) to 15 (53-38) over the 11-2 stretch. St. Olaf led by seven at the half, 30-23.
