NORTHFIELD, Minn. - St. Olaf and Carleton competed to a 150-150 swimming and diving tie on Saturday on a shared senior day for the Northfield Colleges at Carleton.
The Oles' 200 medley relay team of
Kelly Punyko,
Sophia Nevin,
Helen Jensen and
Marissa Wolff won the event in a time of 1:51.56.
Jensen later won the 1000 free in 10:56.81 and the 100 fly (1:01.85).
Caitlin Croasdell was second (11:08.86) and
Emily Maruyama third (11:55.50) in the 1000 free. Croasdell later won the 200 breast in 2:16.58.
Wolff won the 200 free in 1:57.02 while
Kelly Wichmann was third in 2:06.69. Wolff later won the 500 free (5:20.17) and was second in the 100 free.
Punyko won the 100 backstroke in 1:02.81 and was third in the 200 back in 2:17.57.
Nevin was second (1:07.95) and Maruyama fifth (1:15.66) fifth in the 100 breast.
Linnea Rizzo won twice. The St. Olaf junior won the 200 fly in 2:19.15 and later won the 200 IM in 2:18.46.
Olivia Jones was fifth in the 200 fly.
Nina McLarnan was second in the 50 free (26.56).
Rose Peterson was second on the 1-meter board with a score of 199.42.
Lauren Kroschel was fourth with 190.57. Peterson was second on the 3-meter board (227.47) and Kroschel third (199.95).
To close the event, the 200 free relay team was second, with the team of Punyko, McLarnan, Maruyama and Solvay Metelman.
