Frank Delaney had 14 points, nine rebounds, seven assists and three blocks as the St. Olaf men's basketball team extended its winning streak to nine with a 66-57 win over St. Thomas in a key MIAC game on Saturday at Skoglund Center.
Austin Korba added 17 points, six rebounds and five assists for the Oles (18-5, 14-4 MIAC), who led by as many as 13 in the first half.
Ryan Boll had 18 points and five assists to lead St. Thomas (13-10, 11-7 MIAC). The Tommies cut the St. Olaf lead to four at 48-44, with 9:59 to play.
Robert Tobroxen had eight of his 11 points in the first half for St. Olaf. Michael Hannon added 12 for UST.
With the win, St. Olaf clinched the No. 2 seed in the upcoming MIAC Playoffs. It will be the Oles' sixth trip to the postseason in the last eight seasons.
